2019 Vacation Photos (Part 1) (Preview)

Clarinetist Yevgeniy Reznik visited Tenerife—the largest of the Canary Islands.

His family explored the island thoroughly, including its highest peak—Mount Teide.

After scaling the Teno massif (Macizo de Teno), they were rewarded with a beautiful sunset.

The volcanic landscapes of Teide National Park—a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The sun sets on another beautiful day in Tenerife.

Projectionist Annie Li backpacked around Europe, visiting Greece and Santorini in the Aegean Sea...

...Dubrovnik, Croatia...

...and Venice, Italy.

In Florence dancer Kexin Li captured the iconic Ponte Vecchio bridge.

MC Victoria Zhou got a view of Edinburgh, Scotland from the Dugald Stewart Monument.

More island hopping, this time in Croatia, where dancer Betty Wang's motorboat makes a pit stop at Šolta Island.

She also visited the lovely waterfalls of Krka National Park. (Spot the rainbow?)

Closer to home, dancer-sisters Lilly (left) and Katie Parker ready for canoeing on Lewis Lake, Pennsylvania.

Their vacation continued in the Grand Canyon, where Lilly Parker observes how surprisingly green it is this time of year.

Another two hours into their hike, the brothers arrived at Lake Agnes.

Peyto Lake—its water contains glacial rock flour, which reflects the sunlight to produce such intense hues of blue.

Across the continent, dancer Lily Wang visited Acadia National Park in Maine.

MC Leeshai Lemish returned to Israel, where he grew up, and visited the city of Acre. These sea walls defended the city from Napoleon’s siege in 1799, dealing a critical blow to Bonaparte’s attempt to conquer the East.

In Peru, percussionist Tiffany Yu scaled Machu Picchu.
