      Angelia Wang

      Principal Dancer

      Angelia Wang won first place (junior female division) in New Tang Dynasty Television’s 2009 and 2010 International Classical Chinese Dance Competitions. She won first place (adult female division) in the same competition in 2012. She studied classical Chinese dance at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Classical Chinese Dance from Fei Tian College in New York.

      Melody Qin

      Principal Dancer

      Melody Qin won first place in New Tang Dynasty Television’s 2012 International Classical Chinese Dance Competition (adult female division) and won third place in the competition’s junior division in 2010. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Classical Chinese Dance from Fei Tian College after studying classical Chinese dance at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts, both in New York.

      Tiffany Lin

      Principal Dancer

      Tiffany (Hsiao-Hung) Lin won first place in New Tang Dynasty Television’s 2014 Classical Chinese Dance Competition (adult female division), and first place in the same competition’s junior division in 2012. She studied classical Chinese dance at the New York-based Fei Tian Academy of the Arts and Fei Tian College.

      Evangeline Zhu

      Principal Dancer

      Evangeline Zhu won first place in New Tang Dynasty Television’s 2016 International Classical Chinese Dance Competition (adult female division), after having won first place in the same competition’s junior female division in 2014. She studied dance at the New York-based Fei Tian Academy of the Arts and earned her bachelor’s degree in this field, graduating summa cum laude, from Fei Tian College, where she is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Classical Chinese Dance.

      Michelle Lian

      Principal Dancer

      Michelle Lian won first place in the 2018 New Tang Dynasty Television International Classical Chinese Dance Competition (adult female division) after having previously won consecutive first place titles in the junior female division of the biennial competition in 2014 and 2016. She pursued advanced studies in classical Chinese dance at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts in New York, graduating with high honors.

      Piotr Huang

      Principal Dancer

      Piotr Huang won first place in New Tang Dynasty Television’s 2014 International Classical Chinese Dance Competition (adult male division). He studied classical Chinese dance at the New York-based Fei Tian Academy of the Arts and holds a bachelor’s in this field from Fei Tian College, graduating summa cum laude. He is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Classical Chinese Dance from Fei Tian College.

      Jay Huang

      Principal Dancer

      Jay Huang won first place in New Tang Dynasty Television’s 2016 International Classical Chinese Dance Competition (adult male division), after having received Honorable Mention in the same competition in 2014. He studied classical Chinese dance at the New York-based Fei Tian Academy of the Arts and holds a bachelor’s in this field from Fei Tian College, graduating summa cum laude. He is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Classical Chinese Dance from Fei Tian College.

      Kenji Kobayashi

      Principal Dancer

      Kenji Kobayashi studied classical Chinese dance at the New York-based Fei Tian Academy of the Arts and holds a bachelor’s in this field from Fei Tian College, graduating magna cum laude. He is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Classical Chinese Dance from Fei Tian College. He won first place in the New Tang Dynasty Television’s 2016 International Classical Chinese Dance Competition (adult male division). In 2014 he won first place in the junior male division of the same competition, after having won second place in 2012.

      Albert Yang

      Principal Dancer

      Albert Yang studied classical Chinese dance and graduated with honors from Fei Tian Academy of the Arts in New York. He then graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Classical Chinese Dance from Fei Tian College, also in New York. He won third place in the 2016 adult male division of New Tang Dynasty Television’s International Classical Chinese Dance Competition. In 2014 he won second place in the same competition after having won third place in its junior division in 2012.

      Victor Li

      Principal Dancer

      Victor Li studied classical Chinese dance at the New York-based Fei Tian Academy of the Arts and then pursued advanced studies at Fei Tian College, where he graduated magna cum laude. He won second place in the adult male division of New Tang Dynasty Television’s 2018 International Classical Chinese Dance Competition after winning third place in the same competition in 2016. He is in his twelfth season with Shen Yun.

      Elsie Shi

      Principal Dancer

      Elsie Shi won first place in the adult female division of New Tang Dynasty Television’s 2016 International Classical Chinese Dance Competition. She studied classical Chinese dance at Taiwan’s Niao Song School of the Arts before studying at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts and then earning her bachelor’s degree, graduating summa cum laude, from Fei Tian College, both in New York.

      Angela Xiao

      Principal Dancer

      Angela Xiao began studying classical Chinese dance at age 8, and specialized in classical Chinese dance at the New York-based Fei Tian Academy of the Arts before earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Classical Chinese Dance from Fei Tian College, graduating magna cum laude. In 2014, she received Honorable Mention in New Tang Dynasty Television’s International Classical Chinese Dance Competition (junior female division).

      William Li

      Principal Dancer

      William Li won second place in New Tang Dynasty Television’s 2012 International Classical Chinese Dance Competition and third place in the same competition in 2014. He also took second place in the junior male division of the competition in both 2009 and 2010. He studied classical Chinese dance at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts in New York before becoming Principal Dancer in Shen Yun’s production “The Monkey King.”

      Miranda Zhou-Galati

      Principal Dancer

      Miranda Zhou-Galati won first place in New Tang Dynasty Television’s 2014 International Classical Chinese Dance Competition (adult female division), second place in the same competition in 2012, and first place (junior female division) in 2010. She pursued advanced studies in classical Chinese dance at the New York-based Fei Tian Academy of the Arts and Fei Tian College. With Shen Yun since its very inception, she is in her fifteenth season with the company.

      Daoyong Zheng

      Principal Dancer

      Daoyong Zheng won first place in New Tang Dynasty Television’s 2014 International Classical Chinese Dance Competition (adult female division) after winning second place in 2012 and third place in 2010. She previously took second place in the 2005 Taipei Dance Competition, and third place in the same competition in 2007. She received her training in classical Chinese dance at the New York-based Fei Tian Academy of the Arts and Fei Tian College.

      Chad Chen

      Principal Dancer

      Chad Chen comes from a family of accomplished Taiwanese artists. In 2010 and 2012, he won first place (junior male division) in New Tang Dynasty Television’s International Classical Chinese Dance Competition. In 2018, he won first place in the international competition’s adult male division. He studied classical Chinese dance at the New York-based Fei Tian Academy of the Arts, and graduated summa cum laude from Fei Tian College.

      Kaidi Wu

      Principal Dancer

      Kaidi Wu has repeatedly placed in the top three of New Tang Dynasty Television’s International Classical Chinese Dance Competition, winning third place in the adult female division in 2018, second in 2014, and second place in the junior female division in 2012. She specialized in classical Chinese dance at the New York-based Fei Tian Academy of the Arts and then pursued advanced studies at Fei Tian College, where she graduated magna cum laude.

      Nara Oose

      Principal Dancer

      Nara Oose is the first place winner of the 2021 New Tang Dynasty Television International Classical Chinese Dance Competition (adult division). She previously won first place in the competition’s junior division in 2018. She moved from Japan to New York to study classical Chinese dance at the New York-based Fei Tian Academy of the Arts and Fei Tian College. Her older brother, Rubi, is also a principal dancer with the company.

      Karina Fu

      Principal Dancer

      Karina Fu won first place in New Tang Dynasty Television’s 2021 international Classical Chinese Dance Competition (adult female division) and second place twice in the same competition in 2018 (adult female division) and 2016 (junior female division). She studied classical Chinese dance at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts and then pursued advanced studies at Fei Tian College, both in New York.

      Anna Huang

      Principal Dancer

      Anna Huang studied classical Chinese dance at the New York-based Fei Tian Academy of the Arts before pursuing advanced studies at Fei Tian College. She won second place in the adult female division of New Tang Dynasty Television’s International Classical Chinese Dance Competition in 2021 after winning second place in the junior division of the same competition in 2018.

      Lillian Parker

      Principal Dancer

      At a young age, Lillian Parker studied piano, clarinet, and gymnastics. She then moved from Canada to New York, where she studied classical Chinese dance at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts. In 2021, she won first place in the junior female division of New Tang Dynasty Television’s International Classical Chinese Dance Competition.

      Henry Hung

      Principal Dancer

      Growing up in Taiwan, Henry Hung had a strong interest in martial arts, earning a black belt in Taekwondo. He then studied dance at Taiwan’s Niao Song School of the Arts before relocating to New York to study classical Chinese dance at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts. He won first place in the junior division of New Tang Dynasty Television’s 2018 International Classical Chinese Dance Competition, and second place in the adult division of the same competition in 2021.

      Tony Zhao

      Principal Dancer

      Tony Zhao is the second place winner in the adult male division of New Tang Dynasty Television’s International Classical Chinese Dance Competition of 2021, having previously won second and third places in the competition’s junior male division in 2018 and 2016, respectively. He studied classical Chinese dance at the New York-based Fei Tian Academy of the Arts, graduating with honors, before pursuing advanced studies at Fei Tian College.

      Carol Huang

      Principal Dancer

      Carol Huang is the first place winner in the junior female division of both the 2021 and 2018 New Tang Dynasty International Classical Chinese Dance Competition. She began her dance training at the age of 4, and continued her studies in classical Chinese dance at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts in New York.

      Ellie Rao

      Principal Dancer

      Ellie Rao was born into a typical middle-class family in China, but her childhood was anything but ordinary. Her father, who practiced the spiritual discipline Falun Dafa, was jailed by the Communist Party and tortured to death for his faith. She was only 4. She and her mother then fled to Thailand and finally arrived in the United States as refugees when she was 9. She then decided to become a dancer and use art as a way to tell stories of faith and courage. She started dancing at San Francisco High School of the Arts before studying classical Chinese dance at the New York-based Fei Tian Academy of the Arts and Fei Tian College, where she is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts. In 2021, she won second place in the adult female division of New Tang Dynasty Television’s International Classical Chinese Dance Competition after previously placing third (adult division) and second (junior division). This is her ninth season with Shen Yun.

      Bella Fan

      Principal Dancer

      Bella Fan won third place in New Tang Dynasty Television’s 2018 International ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬Classical Chinese Dance Competition (junior female division) after winning Honorable Mention in the same competition in 2016. She graduated from Niao Song School of the Arts in Taiwan before studying classical Chinese‭ ‬dance at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts in New York.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

      Jane Chen

      Principal Dancer

      Jane Chen is the first place winner in the adult female division of the 2018 New Tang Dynasty Television International Classical Chinese Dance Competition. She won second place in the same competition in 2016 after placing third in the junior female division in 2014. She studied at Taiwan’s Niao Song School of the Arts and then studied classical Chinese dance at the New York-based Fei Tian Academy of the Arts, graduating with high honors, before pursuing advanced studies at Fei Tian College.

      Angela Lin

      Principal Dancer

      Angela Lin studied classical Chinese dance at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts and Fei Tian College, both in New York. In 2021, she won third place in the adult female division of New Tang Dynasty Television’s International Classical Chinese Dance Competition after placing third in the competition’s junior division in 2018.

      Victoria Li

      Principal Dancer

      Victoria Li won third place in the junior female division of New Tang Dynasty Television’s 2021 International Classical Chinese Dance Competition. She began dance training at the age of 4, continuing it throughout her youth alongside piano. She then tested into Fei Tian Academy of the Arts in New York, where she specialized in classical Chinese dance. After graduating, she pursued advanced studies at Fei Tian College, also in New York. In 2019, she became a lead dancer with Shen Yun Performing Arts, playing major roles in some of the most prestigious venues across the country.

      Marilyn Yang

      Principal Dancer

      Marilyn Yang began her classical Chinese dance training at the age of 6, while also learning flute, violin, and piano. She studied classical Chinese dance at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts, graduating with high honors, before pursuing advanced studies at Fei Tian College; both schools are in New York. In 2021, she won first place in the adult female division of New Tang Dynasty Television’s International Classical Chinese Dance Competition after winning first place in the junior division of the same competition in 2018.

      Justina Wang

      Principal Dancer

      Justina Wang studied classical Chinese dance at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts before pursuing advanced studies at Fei Tian College, both in New York. In 2021, she won second place in the adult female division of New Tang Dynasty Television’s International Classical Chinese Dance Competition after winning second place in the junior division of the same competition in 2018.

      Shawn Ren

      Principal Dancer

      Shawn Ren studied classical Chinese dance at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts and Fei Tian College, both in New York. In 2021, he won second place in the adult male division of New Tang Dynasty Television’s International Classical Chinese Dance Competition after winning second place in the junior division of the same competition in 2018.

      Jesse Browde

      Principal Dancer

      Noted for his high-flying jumps, Jesse Browde studied classical Chinese dance at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts in his home state of New York. In 2021, he won second place in the junior division of New Tang Dynasty Television’s International Classical Chinese Dance Competition.

      Adam Parker

      Principal Dancer

      Adam Parker followed his older sister and Shen Yun principal dancer Lillian to study classical Chinese dance at the New York-based Fei Tian Academy of the Arts, and later became a principal dancer himself. He won first place in the junior division of New Tang Dynasty Television’s 2021 International Classical Chinese Dance Competition.

      Ethan Guo

      Principal Dancer

      Ethan Guo is the third place winner in the junior division of New Tang Dynasty Television’s 2021 International Classical Chinese Dance Competition. He studied classical Chinese dance at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts in New York. The 2022-2023 season is his third with Shen Yun Performing Arts.

      Roy Chen

      Principal Dancer

      Roy Chen began his training in classical Chinese dance at Niao Song School of the Arts in Taiwan, and continued advanced studies at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts and Fei Tian College, both in New York. He won first place in New Tang Dynasty Television’s 2018 International Classical Chinese Dance Competition, after having won first place in its junior male division in 2016. He has also studied the dizi (Chinese flute) and the suona (a reed instrument) since age 7.
