Shen Yun Opens at Lincoln Center to Sell-Out Crowd
FIRST OF FIVE NY SHOWS THIS WEEK AT DAVID H. KOCH THEATER
Shen Yun Performing Arts Touring Company played to a standing ovation and three curtain calls Wednesday in front of a sold-out David H. Koch Theater in Manhattan. The company will perform at Lincoln Center four more times Thursday through Sunday as part of its all-new 2012 season.
Few tickets remain for the New York shows. The weekend matinees are now completely sold out, though a few seats are still available for the weeknight performances, which are already over 90 percent booked.
After its N.Y. performances, Touring Company will head northeast to Providence and then Boston. Meanwhile, International Company is north of the border, playing in Waterloo-Kitchener, Toronto, and Mississauga. New York Company is in sunny Southern California, performing in Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego before heading to Asia-Pacific.
