Photos from Tour: Exploring the Swiss Alps

  • Inspired by the grandeur of the Swiss Alps, dancers Anna Huang and Karina Fu strike a dance pose while at the Schilthorn summit.
  • But before we return to the summit, let's go back to where it all began—at the base of the Alps, before the Lauterbrunnen Valley Falls.
  • While resting at the base of the Alps, we listen to the sound of babbling brooks and catch a refreshing spray on our backs.
  • It's so idyllic in Stechelberg! After touring so many cities, it’s nice to relax here in the fresh mountain air.
  • Our summit adventure soon awaits!
  • The 2,970-meter Schilthorn offers 360-degree panoramic views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau.
  • It’s a spectacular view—one that makes lead dancer Tiffany Lin (literally) jump for joy!
  • Going on the Birg Thrill Walk is such an incredible adventure and the views are breathtaking all the way! This 200-meter long steel structure hangs on the cliff around the mountain.
  • Our dancers gain immediate confidence while balancing on the Thrill Walk.
  • A view so momentous, even the stage manager is inspired by its vastness to show off her flexibility. Or... maybe just a simple stretch will do.
  • Dancer Jessica Si strikes a pose while taking in the panoramic view.
  • With mountains this grand and vast, how can our dancers not be inspired?
  • Which is higher, the points of our dancers’ feet or the peaks of the Alps?
  • Psyched and enthused for these grand majestic views.
  • What's more exhilarating than the Thrill Walk?
A crawl tunnel made of steel cable. For the views, it's all worth it.
  • Dancer Nara Cho loves it here at 2,970-meter up high, where the air is fresh and the mountains are far and reaching.
  • We had a good time!
  • Dancer Tony Zhao takes a final shot of the grandeur.
  • After the conclusion of four shows in Basel Switzerland, stopping through Zurich, principal dancer Evangeline Zhu takes in a quiet moment overlooking Lake Zurich.
  • Farewell Switzerland! We hope to see you next year!
  • Before traveling to Basel, Switzerland, to perform four shows at Musical Theater Basel, we set out to explore the majestic Swiss Alps. In this album, you’ll see photos from our trip to Schilthorn, a mountain that stands 2,970 meters above sea level.
