After watching featured videos I expected more acrobatic dances than it was - disappointing part. The orchestra and music were phenomenal. Also I found unusual impressive connection between screen and stage.

pure POETRY IN MOTION; the music was fantastic; the dances gave you a sense of intense raw energy, you felt the emotion of the dance through the dancers. Loved the way the dancers came out of the backdrop Can't wait till next year.

I saw the first show in San Diego and it was very good. I understand that people want the best for themselves and don't need others trying to control their lives so once again as I sit and watch those who work so hard to perform and express their belief I let go of any prejudice or criticizing spirits that interfere with understanding and see it from where the performers stand. It's easy for me to surrender to the splendor of the beauty and choreography that is presented in a way that takes the mind and heart back in time with stories and legends. Liberty is free from oppression and the truth makes us free. The performers were excellent and the ladies were talented, adorned with beautiful apparel and had a smile that could light up any cloudy day. This world needs to get a little wiser, there are enough destroyers and criticizers. I congratulate everyone for their effort and I'm looking forward to the 2018 Shen Yun show in Escondido Ca.

I have come to learn that "Shen Yun" refers to the Divine beauty within every individual—the subtleties of one's every movement—the expressions of one's body language...and the True beauty of every soul. According to Taoist and Buddhist philosophy we are all One. We are all from the Divine. In my opinion Shen Yun is the celebration and creative expression of God's creation (including us). Watching the performance was absolutely mesmerizing for me. The sets, the costumes, the amazing dancers....so much grace and beauty in every movement! I was appalled and shocked to hear that this show can’t be seen in China under the Communist Party regime. I cannot understand WHY they see traditional culture as a threat to its power. Even more disturbing is that this has been going on for decades. The government has tried to destroy culture and does not tolerate any form of human expression including music, art, dance and religious practice. This is very upsetting for me as art and human expression is what makes us unique...these are gifts and qualities from God that ought to be respected and highly regarded. Why should this be repressed? In my opinion this is simply criminal and morally wrong. We must all take it upon ourselves to raise awareness of the oppression suffered by our brothers and sisters around the world. I know I will. Keep up the great work Shen Yun Performing Arts. I admire and respect all the hard work, passion and dedication you have put into manifesting this theatrical production. Lots of love and best wishes for continued success! This spectacular show is a must see. I think if the show had ended with a final dance number, it would have been even better.

Dancers were amazing as well as the costumes. However the choreography was excellent, one of the best I've seen. The women danced barefoot in every scene except the one with the dishes on their head. Were the shoes helping them to maintain balance?

When I see how devoted are they artists ; I am proud to be an human being. Keep up the good work .

I was so happy with this show. The colours used in the costumes the way the dancers use their costumes as props is breathtaking!! The orchestra and the presenters everything about this show was amazing! I will go to the next presentation in Montreal for sure. Thank you for a great experience
