International Human Rights Director: 'Please do not miss the opportunity to come and see this show'
BRUSSELS, Belgium–Willy Fautré, director of Human Rights Without Frontiers International, attended Shen Yun Performing Arts Touring Company’s season opening in Brussels.
"It was absolutely extraordinary,” said Mr. Fautré who had seen the company perform two years ago in Antwerp.
“It had been a pleasant surprise at that time to discover a performance of such quality, and the great choreography. But this time, I was surprised by the originality of the show.”
“The [dances] and the enchanting scenery in the background with a continuous relationship between the set and the artists, with the dancers flying to heaven or descending to earth ... it was absolutely impressive, new and original,” Mr. Fautré said of the interaction between the dancers and the digital backdrop.
"The whole thing was really well done and the fact of having short introductions in several languages, so that everyone can understand, created a whole [complete experience],” he said.
Overall, Mr. Fautré said he sensed “there was a strong message of love, compassion… the feeling of trying to get people to move towards betterment in their lives, and also towards others and all of mankind. "
As a director of an international human rights body, Mr. Fautré, had a strong message of his own:
"Please do not miss the opportunity to come and see this show. In two hours, you'll have a view of Chinese culture, of Chinese philosophy and a glimpse of the reality in China.”
